[SLE] Video corrution problem in SUSE10.1

I'm not sure if I can describe this problem properly, but here goes...

I've got 10.1 installed and it's running fine (in terms of KDE, ZEN
etc) on an AMD2000+, 1GB ram, nVidia N6600GT (with the latest nVidia
binary drivers). I've got a problem though with what I can best
describe as video corruption.

Basically if there is any animation - for example when I'm playin a
video in MPlayer or playing World of Warcraft in Cedega - there is a
block or are around the mouse pointer the is not updated at the same
speed as the rest of the screen.. it's about a 1/4 second behind. The
result is a rectangle of corrupted display for a short period... it
follows the mouse pointer around... if I stop moving the mouse, the
rectangle of bad video catches up to the rest of the display and
things are fine.. until I move the mouse pointer.

The corruption does not happen on the regular desktop (like in
Firefox)... it only happens in things like games that are using OpenGL
or in movies... stuff like that.

I'm not sure where to even start with trying to find the root of the
problem here. Has anyone else noticed this? Any suggestions?

Don't know if it's worth noting, but the same hardware running on 10.0
(a week ago) playing the same games/movies did not show this
behaviour.
