That's OK.
I always like to buy the latest version (if it's worth it!) mainly for the DVD and its extra packages. Plus, as there seems to be many alterations in 10.1, I will need the manual!
No need for the manual. You already know enough from earlier versions to run10.1.
I downloaded the 6 CD ISO files and created the DVD and so I don't have a manual - and am not lost without it.
(Don't you have a friendly neighbour who could download the ISOs for you? Or perhaps the local Linux/Unix User Group who can burn a copy of the DVD (or CDs) for you?
