[SLE] YOU not working in SUSE-10.0

Hello,
I work behind a firewall which allows only HTTP connections,
I installed SUSE LINUX-10.0 today on my brand new Toshiba Portege, set
up the proxy in network services ,
curl etc are able to connect to the web using the same.YOU is only
retreiving a single ftp website for Online Update which my firewall
will not let me connect to ,
How do i get it to download HTTP Online Update URLs...
My Acer Desktop is happily YOUing from HTTP links which are working :
I tried copying the
/var/lib/YaST2/you/youservers to my notebook ,but that gets
overwritten each time i try to update, besides even if i try entering
HTTP urls as they appear in my desktop box in YOU->User defined
Locations
the error message I get is
Signature Check for patch info files failed
Cannot Load patch information
Any help ??
