Mine is different from yours.

On booting with the DVD, the options are:

Boot from Hard Disk
Live CD KDE
Live CD Gnome
Installation
Installation ACPI disabled
Installation Local APCI disabled
Installation Safe Settings

well... is the installtion the usual one through Yast or an
other kind? (as Knoppix that only copies the dvd to the hard
drive)?

It's a standard SUSE installation through YAST, and went very
smoothly.
