Hello,
Almost everything is in the title, I have a Microsoft "Wireless
Intellimouse Explorer 2.0"
connected on the PS2 port, the xorg.conf entries are below:
Section "InputDevice"
Driver "mouse"
Identifier "Mouse[1]"
Option "Buttons" "7"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Name" "ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse"
Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2"
Option "Vendor" "Sysp"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
the mouse cursor is uncontrollable, I had to come back to the SuSE
2.6.16 kernel which was
compiled with exactly the same configuration.
Does anyone meet and solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I am not having a problem with a mouse nor do I know the answer to your particular problem but I can just mention that a long time ago (~a couple of years ago) the same thing happened to me. The problem lay in the wrong driver being selected for the mouse I was using and I had to go into Yast and try out the various mices available there and test each one before the correct driver was finally chosen.
Sorry, but this is the best I can do.
Cheers.
