I do wish you'd stop trying to rewrite history. Except for a very few
individuals, this list has historically been free from people who place form
over content. In fact, it used to be that people came to SLE to get away from
the extremely fanatical people on the German list

So please stop talking about "long timers", as if they were all of one mind
and all agreed with you and Shanahan, because it's just not true

Now PLEASE let this discussion, and all others like it DIE, and let's get back
to technical issues
