Greetings,
There is a promotion of 2 GB USB key for 35 Euros.
I was wondering if I could install one of SuSe distribution and carry
with me for demo purposes?
All comments welcome.
In principal it would work. In practice you have a couple potential
problems:
a) the machine must support booting from USB drives.
b) The device names may change depending on the PC, which means
that /etc/fstab may be incorrect on some machines.
c) Likewise, network cards, X11, etc., might have to be re-setup on each
new machine.
d) It'll be dog slow compared to a normal installation.
