Hi everyone.
I am a novice to SUSE Linux.
I recently, with the help of a friend, updated my 9.3 to 10.1.
After doing so, I have yet to be able run an update with YOU.
YOU was broken out of the box... but I think at this point you should be able
to do a YOU update to get things going. You may need to add some
information into the 'installation source' of Yast. Search the archives for
what and how to do this.
Also, tried copying my DVD media to my HD, and it did not copy some of the
fiels in some of the folders.
Did a media check and it said
"md5sumwrong"
I purchased the SUSE 10.1through Amazon.com
Not sure on this... I would suggest a thorough cleaning of the DVD and if you
still think it is a media error, go back to Amazon.
I also have the 6 CDs.
Could my problem be related to a bad DVD? Should I try to reinstall?
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
Debi
