In the konqueror location bar (as well as other text entry locations),

pressing and releasing both the right CTRL+SHIFT keys causes text to be right
aligned.  The same action with the left CTRL+SHIFT keys left aligns the text.

This sounds like what happened to you.  Hope this helps.
