Seams that, same way, some config file of that user (probably the konqueror
one) got damaged or is not properly recognised by the update.
The radical solution is to delete the .kde dir and start a new session for
that user. The prudent solution is to discover what config file is causing it
(maybe the .dir file that defines the Documents directory) and deleted or
repair it.

P.S. - That is the reason why I don't update important system (kernel, kde,
gnome, etc.) between releases. There always are some side effects.
