So I dig in the log, where I am treated to this much better
message:

23 Sep 2006 12:42:50 INFO RedCarpetBackend Resolvable id

does not
exist.

Erm, something is FUBAR with zen. (Big shock!)

I have seen this more often in the last few weeks. Interestingly
enough after
a refresh and reboot this message no longer pops up. Possibly I could
save
the reboot by stopping and re-starting zmd, but I have not attempted
that yet
-- frustrating.

Yes, it was. I was getting a similar error - the number was different
- whenever I'd try the many "fixes" for Zen online.

*sigh*

I eventually gave up and went with SMART. It seems to be working. Not
as nice as YOU was but at least it works.

Any idea when they're bringing YOU back? 10.2? 10.3?

It is there, don't you see it?

It was one of those brilliant pieces of software - it did exactly what
you wanted and seemed to never break. (Of course, someone in
management apparently thought that was reason enough to replace it.)

It did not handle changing dependencies, had only one repository,
not good handling of Patch CDs etc ...

Ciao, Marcus
