[SLE] 10.1: No resume after latest kernel update

After upgrade to 2.6.12.21-0.25-bigsmp, my system doesn't resume anymore.
Suspend works, resume starts, it even restores the data pages, but when
control should go the reactivated kernel, it shows only the screen with the
suspend messages.

Any hints?
