And that's why, as I recall, whenever you add a new source it is automatically Enabled but Refresh is set to Off. ;-)
One point though, which is that when I entered YaST to alter my installation sources, it hung for several minutes, trying to refresh from the mirrors which I knew by now to be down - that was why I'd entered YaST - to replace them with ones which work! Is it really necessary to refresh all the repositories when one starts the tool to manage them?
