[SLE] lost mouse cursor

Hi everyone.

Switching from KDE to the text console and then back again loses my mouse
cursor. I've tried rcxdm restart, dropping down to 2 then back to 5. . . The
only way I can get the mouse back is by rebooting. I feel like a windoze
user!

Can anyone help me out of this embarrassing situation?

OpenSuSE 10.1 x86-64 with nVidia 6100

Cheers and TIA Steve.
