A few days ago, I found the way to change the background color for the

like to do is make the title background transparent, as it is in Windows
XP, but that doesn't seem to be an option. How do I get back to the title
background control? (9.3)

Its well hidden, I agree.

Right click desktop,
Select configure desktop
Advanced Options

One wonders why this isn't also in the Fonts part

Thanx a lot, John, I just followed your instructions, and they worked
perfectly. There is a way there to make the background transparent,
also--I think it says "no background color" or something like that.
