I tried to ftp the screenshot from dolphin and realized (a) I couldn't
open another tab and (b) I couldn't ftp. :P
Also, I'm still on the prowl for a twin pane file manger that works
like Explorer. I really like the functionality of explorer in terms of
the ability to have folders on one pane and files/folders on the
other, with the left pane truly following the right pane. Konqueror
almost does it but not quite.
Of course the other benefits of konq far outweigh that one trivial
detraction.
konq twin pannel is good but I perfer krusader and mc. mc is really
the best and will do *everything*, including wash the kitchen sink.
I wish! I just got done with that. (The wife is teaching tonight at the
university.)
It is the emacs of file browsers.
sigh...I know.
I use MC often when in command line mode so I don't have to remember cp or mv
or chroot or whatever. :P
One thing MC doesn't to - that I've really grown accustomed to - is previews.
I love my previews.
