Yeah, you read my mind...

... and I am wanting to know whether it is preferred to install from the
buildservice... vs installing from the djangoproject home page via tar-ball.

Also, I have heard some rumors grumbling about an alledged incompatibility
with Django and the mail server(s). Familiar with any issues along these
lines??
