[opensuse] Iomega Rev drive

Hi,
Is anyone using a Iomega Rev-drive (70GB native) ? I would like to use it as a backup device.
I briefly tested it on Suse (don't remember the version though) when I purchased an ATAPI one for a Windows machine, but it didn't work out of the box. Maybe it needs some tweaks or maybe recent Suse-versions work better. Or maybe the SATA version is better supported ?
Googling showed it should work, but I would like to hear some experiences.
Thanks.
