How well openSuSE worked with my dual monitor setup was one of the main
reasons I stuck with it while I was on my distro hunt. If you go into
YaST, Hardware, Graphics Card and Monitor, there's a section for "Dual
Head Mode". Activate it and click the Configure... button. Select the
Xinerama Multihead and it should work like you want.
