http://en.opensuse.org/Hardware is a great place to start with openSUSE
and http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Laptops for laptops...

Jonathan, do you have a list of the databases you considered?
I don't see any reference to other databases on
http://en.opensuse.org/Hardware, perhaps we add some to the External Links
section...

Hi Juergen,

what is your opinion about database on openSUSE wiki, good and bad sides.

Can we structure it better to be easier to browse and add entries.
The table format used on some pages seems to be inadequate as it is now.
It is not easy to add entries and specially due to limited space in a table it
doesn't allow comments, procedure description etc.

I was looking to combine smaller table with fewer entries combined with page
index like layout test on:
http://en.opensuse.org/User:Rajko_m/Tests

Page index seems to work fine for some of HCL pages:
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Printers
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Scanners
and it is quite more useful than:
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Laptops/Acer
and similar.
