hehehe i dont think that far since i m just a user, not an expert in linux. I m quite happy i can live without microsoft and other expensive software. in this case, i m just sharing some of my experience. A reboot for me is not a problem as long as it works ;)

When you update your kernel.. yes... otherwise???? Especially not
when you install OpenOffice. If you need to reboot after installing
or updating OpenOffice, then something is horribly wrong...
