No, you do not need to delete any version of java. I have three currently.

Simply go in OOo to the tools menu, options, java, wait perhaps a minute
till it detects the existing java engines, then choose one.

No. That's exactly what was causing the problem for me. The different versions
did not appear. I had 1.4.2 AND 1.5.0 installed. Crash. Lose 1.5.0 and 1.4.2
appeared. Lose 1.5.0 and 1.4.2 appeared. At work with 2.0.4 all versions show
but the form wizard doesn't allow saving. This has never been fixed in the
SuSE release as far as I can tell. That's why I went with 2.2.1 from the ooo
site and just the 1.4.2 so that everything in the database module just
worked. It wasted a day's work. I hope that this information will help to
save others time.
