Can somebody help me out?

Sure. Just jack up the case and swap out the mobo & p.s. with a new
one that DOES support USB boot. Simple fix. Maybe not cheap, but simple.

The alternative is to clone the USB stick to a cd and boot to that. Or you
could go get a 6 pack and a movie, forget about beating your head against
the wall, spend a lot less money and have a lot more fun doing it.
