If there is no BIOS options, than you need grub installed on hard with
complete /boot directory.
Floppy would be option if it is possible to create small initrd that can fit
on floppy. I haven't tried that for a long time.
In any case, it is not very usefull unless you only want to test bootable USB
stick.
