There is some critical software, Apani VPN, that I need, but will not

Apani software did build using 10.2 kernel.
Apani will not have a solution for a while, so I was wondering if I
could install the 10.2 kernel so that I can use the Apani software?
What problems will I have installing 10.2 software?
Thank you,
Keith
I think a better suited question would be what kernel version is required?
And I am guessing you connect to a Nortel Switch.. It sucks doesn't it.
That's too bad - but FWIW the cisco vpn client was updated recently, and runs
perfectly on suse 10.3.
