Stupid question #1. How do I turn it off ??
Open a terminal, login as root and type the following:
gnome-xgl-switch --disable-xgl
(remember: as root user!), then logoff and logon again, or if you prefer
to, restart your computer.
SQ # 2. How do you close an app without going up to the menu bar "File" and
then choosing quit from the drop down list?
SQ # 3. How do you minimize an app? or resize the window?
It seems that you lost the windows decorations after installing compiz;
if so, they should be restored after compiz being uninstalled and you
will be able to perform these tasks easily again.
