I am having kmail connect to my pop3 mail account, I know the server is up
because I am able to ping it, but it could be having trouble (sadly it
happens a lot with my ISP). The thing that is throwing me off is the error
message that I am getting, usually I get an error saying that the server is
sending an improper greeting, or something like that, but this time I am
getting this error "Unable to complete LIST operation." after that comes up
Kmail just sits there saying that it is Preparing Transmission from my ISP
and thats it. It doesn't lock up or anything because all the menus and
buttons responded, its just not communicating with the server.

See if the thread starting here helps.
