Hi,
I'm running OpenSuse 10.3 64bit on AMD 64x2. I was examining my /var/log/messages log file and noticed a LOT (like one ever few seconds!!!) of messages of the following:
Nov 12 20:23:54 orm7700a acpid: received event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
Nov 12 20:23:54 orm7700a acpid: notifying client 3002[101:102]
Nov 12 20:23:54 orm7700a acpid: notifying client 3046[0:0]
Nov 12 20:23:54 orm7700a acpid: notifying client 4015[0:0]
Nov 12 20:23:54 orm7700a acpid: completed event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
Can anyone shed some light on what this event is and how to stop it from logging??
Thanks for any feedback.
Best regards. Otto Rodusek
