Hello.
I´d like to upgrade to newer flash player.
I downloaded the newest flash-plugin-9.0.115.0-release.i386.rpm from
Adobe. But flash in openSUSE is called flash-player.So i can´t upgrade
it,just install new package.
So that in YaST are installed two packages flash-player-9.0.48.0-16
and flash-plugin-9.0.115.0.
I tried to uninstall flash-player, but browsers say that plugin is
missing. I tried install it from tar.gz file also, but
unsuccessfully. So, how can i upgrade it?

Thanks.

The best suggestion I can offer is to wait for the Suse rpm to come
around. Or you could just install it manually using Adobe's tar.gz
file rather than the rpm. Because of the locations of files SuSE uses,
Adobe's rpm doesn't work or install correctly.

I have tried the new 115 build and found it to have problems. Konqueror
pukes on it big time and Firefox will work, but you are sure to have
some problems. Best bet for the moment is to stick with the 48 build
available on the SuSE mirrors now.
