Thanks for the reply, Per. Did you have to omit the PolicyKit? and
HAL? Last time I tried to install OpenSUSE 10.3 w/o lib32 for text
mode, it complained about those 2 and a few others, I can't remember
off the top of my head ATM.

no, I didn't do anything special. I've got 10.2 running on a couple of
remote servers, all 64bit-only, and here in the office I've got 11A2
running on my new Phenom box. No special adjustments on any of them.
