[opensuse] How to set up swap on (software) RAID1 mdX device?

Does anyone have any advice on how to set up swap on a RAID1 md[X] device?

I've just upgraded a system from SuSE 10.0 to openSuSE 10.3 and the
swap space (/dev/md2) is currently showing as auto-read-only in
/proc/mdstat.

I've got /dev/md0 (128M) as /boot, /dev/md1 (64G) as /, and /dev/md2
as swap. All of this was configured through YaST during the install.
What have I done wrong?

Thanks,

Jim
