I installed mozilla-nspr & mozilla-nss from the mozilla factory beta repo successfully prior to updating rpm then I still had a problem and emailed my original post. Then I updated rpm and retried a zypper install of OpenOffice_org. The identical Xalan-c file that had the cpio error installed successfully.Hi, I just tried to update OpenOffice from factory and (fortunately before downloading the real big files) every file, so far, fails with the rpm error :- "unpacking of archive failed: cpio: Bad magic" Anybody else know how many corrupt files are in the factory repo or if anybody is aware of this problem yet.Hi, update on problem, decided to update rpm and the problem disappeared. Rpm has worked fine before and in fact worked fine on itself. Is it possible that zypper downloaded files that were in the process of being loaded. I had the problem with mozilla-nspr, mozilla-nss and Xalan-c. Am now waiting for OpenOffice and hoping it doesn't bomb.
Thanks
