[opensuse] OOo: save-as for cifs hosted documents really bad.

All,
I installed OOo 2.4 from UNSTABLE and it seems even more prone to the
Save-As lockup I've reported before. (In bugzilla, etc.)
Since upgrading, I have not been able to open a document existing on a
cifs mounted drive and perform "save as". I've tried only 3 or 4
docs, but I even had the problem after rebooting.
With OOo 2.3 it was hit or miss and a reboot always got me back stable
for at least a short while.
Anyone else having this issue?
my steps:
Alt-F2: oowriter
Click File Open and open a file that is on a cifs mounted filesystem
Click Save-As
<lock up of KDE mouse clicks etc. ensues>
Use Alt-Tab or Control-Alt-F2 (etc.) to get to either konsole or console.
Kill OOo.
Repeat as desired.
