Re: [opensuse] KDE 4 no longer starts

Check that all your libqt4 packages come from the same place - do rpm -qi

KDE:Qt44, since they are aggregated out of that project into
STABLE:Desktop. For the rest of the kde4 packages, it should be
KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop or Extra-Apps. Let us know if this is not the
case.

Hi Will,

Thanks again for your input. I installed several updates this morning to KDE4
again, including KDE 4 base packages, which had apparently had been updated.
I had hopes that they might have fixed things, but unfortunately no...

Here is the output I get:

# rpm -qi libqt4

Distribution: KDE:Qt44 / openSUSE_10.3

I assume that the Distribution above is correct?

All other packages that contain KDE4 in the name, come from the
KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop repository, according to Yast2.

Anything else I can check?

Thanks again,

Joop
