[opensuse] Can not update/remove Firefox

Hello everybody,

I wonder if someone would be so kind to help me with my problem.

Somewhile ago I tried to update Firefox which did not work because of
some MIME-Error that Brasero Caused[1]. However I could fix that and was
also able to update Firefox. But then at somepoint I had two versions of
firefox installed (at least YaST said so) which seemed strange to me but
I as it kept working I didn't care much about it.

However, I tried now to update Firefox to 2.0.0.14 and everything got
completely out of hand. The first update resulted in some kind of broken
installation (e.g. I could not bookmark new sites, etc.) so I tried to
completely remove both installations of firefox and make a clean
install. One of the two installations could be removed, the other is
displaying an error message[2] when trying to remove it.

It seems that firefox is working right now, however I would still like
to fix this issue.

Has anybody any clue on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Valentin Sawadski
