Re: [opensuse] Can not update/remove Firefox

However, I tried now to update Firefox to 2.0.0.14 and everything got
completely out of hand. The first update resulted in some kind of broken
installation (e.g. I could not bookmark new sites, etc.) so I tried to
completely remove both installations of firefox and make a clean
install. One of the two installations could be removed, the other is
displaying an error message[2] when trying to remove it.

It seems that firefox is working right now, however I would still like
to fix this issue.

Has anybody any clue on how to fix this?

Remove both Firefox packages manually with
rpm -e --noscripts MozillaFirefox
and reinstall the latest one again with yast/zypper/whatever.
