When I start openSUSE RC 1 (from live CD) my screen goes black about

KDE? If not, is more info needed to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Pimm.
I've seen this when you over-drive monitors. Too high a sync rate
or resolution or some such. Its a monitor self preservation tactic.
Try dropping your resolution, number of colors, and see if it
stops. If so, you might find some settings in xorg.conf that you
can tweak with a little googling.
