[opensuse] Firefox 2 crash on "save link as..."

Hello list,

I experience frequent crashes of firefox when I do a "right-click", "save link as...". The crash occurs before the "save as" dialog box could appear. I then restart firefox and the download will work. I can't pinpoint the time when this started occuring (long time ago), but it may be linked with my upgrading Thunderbird to version 2.

To try and fix this, I re-installed both firefox and thunderbird (FF from the update repository, TB from packages found on the BuildService). Same story.
