[opensuse] konqueror copy to smb:// does not preserve timestamps

Hi,
I use konqueror to copy files from a shared resource on one windows
machine to another machine, as well as copying files from my opensuse
to share on windows machine. The shares are not mapped, but accessed
using smb://

The problem is, that it does not preserve the original timestamps of
the files, and always puts the current time as "last modified".

How can I preserve the timestemps?

Cheers
