Hmmm, switching off HTML int he message composer works here and sends as plain
not multipart, I know because my posts to the list initially bounced as being
HTML but are OK now. But I'm running 4.1 compiled from svn not the openSuse
packages, so there could be an issue there. Have you tried backing up your
.kde4 folder, then deleting it and starting with a clean config to see if the
problem persists? If it does, I suggest lodging a bug report, then restore
your old .kde4 again.
