I have been using the KDE4.1 factory repository to keep an eye on
development. Sometime in the last couple of weeks an update disabled
4.1 from running. A crappy looking gui box pops up saying something
about lnusertemp cannot be found and directories may be full. Well,
lnusertemp is in /opt/kde3/bin but I am trying to start 4.1. Now that
4.1 has gone gold I thought it might be fixed but most of the stuff in
the repository is still marked with the little lock (i.e. should not
be installed) and 4.1 will not start. 3.5 still seems to work
undaunted.
I'm running AMD64 bit machines. Should the factory repository still
have most of the basic libraries locked?
Thanks for any direction.
