[opensuse] Printing using cups

I have a printer using turboprint on another machine that I am sharing
via cups. On my laptop, I am connected to the printer and I can print to
it with no problem.

The problem i have three apps that work partially with it. Open office
just works partially. It does not allow me to select the various paper
trays associated with the program.

Firefox and evolution both do now work with the printer at all. Whenever
I try to print, it just dies.
