[opensuse] USB Headset

I am trying to configure Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB™ Headset.

Volume controller on the headset's cable works from the moment it is
plugged in, I can also add USB sound card (USB Audio, Generic) in YaST
(that worked for USB headsets and openSUSE 10.3) and set it as a primary
sound card. Unfortunately, although the test sound is played all right,
Amarok (nor any other application I tried) can't get a tone out of it and
displays error message "Could not open audio device for playback".

How to make it work?
