i installed fail2ban via yast repo. and started like this :
/etc/init.d/fail2ban ... done
but if i check with
/etc/init.d/fail2ban ... unused!!!
it needs python-devel package to work. i found that out when
reinstalling using source file, not rpm.
Then you sould make a bug report against the fail2ban package stating
such as the rpm should provide a route to or complain about the
missing dependency.
