I am using OpenSUSE 10.3. My system checked for update each day and the system was up to date.by
just checking OpenSUSE "oss" and "non-oss" repositories and no update was available. I have recently
added some other repositories like "packman", "VCLAN", etc. and then the optione "update 3rd party"
was visible and as I said 32 updates came up but it stops when I click to install. Anyway, the updater
works fine, I am sure.

What is "update 3rd party?" If you have never updated your openSUSE--
installation (what version?) there's probably an update for the
updater (I'm certain in 10.1 and 11.0 there is). Go to YasT ->
Software -> Online update and run that the first time and see if that
works for you. If not please provide some detail in your next posting.

Hi all,
I have just recently activated update 3rd party in OpenSUSE updater. After
that it searched for updates and found 32 updates. When I click install to
install updated, it takes a while and
then the gauge stops with the text "searching for new updates..." or
something like that. I also tested and clicked on "detail" button before
installing updated but install software window opens and
no update is visible to choose. Have anyone faced such problem?
