On 2008/09/11 18:15 (GMT+0200) Dave Plater composed:
midnight commander no longer has the view or edit functions and doesn't
open rpms or compressed files. I've tried uninstalling, deleting all the
.mc directories and reinstalling but still no joy. Has anybody else had
this problem before. mc is most probably one of my most important tools.
If I type mcedit from the cli the editor works.
Which SUSE are you using? I wonder if the tmp dir it uses has fouled permissions?
