Two thoughts:
(1) Stop compiz (kwin --replace &), then delete (or move)
~/.config/compiz/compizconfig/Default.ini and then restart compiz so that it
starts with a clean slate; or
(2) Just uninstall compiz and then reinstall it with one-click:
