Wrong versions, they must match. Update and reboot.

And once that's sorted, you should simply be able to take the defaults
the whole way through the install script with the exception for the
VMWare bug that cannot detect your GCC version correctly.

OK, Thanks for all the help. I've got to shut down and go to my stamp club
