I just can't fathom why people jump in and defend dropping very useful

John, what is wrong headed, arrogant, and inconsiderate is your
insistence that because you want something it has to be there. No one's
talking about dropping useful things.
Why do you keep ignoring the repeated statements that when it was asked
for, it was put in? Why do you insist that every little thing that was
ever there has to stay there forever, even if there's no evidence that
anyone wants or uses it? Why do you keep ignoring the repeated requests
to tell them what you want, so they can put it into their queue?
Stop whining and start cooperating with those who are doing the work.
