[opensuse] Help with PCMCIA-card

Hi,
I installed a PCI-to-PCMCIA card. When I insert a PCMCIA-card in it this is detected (tail messages) but what's next ? I was hoping that my SSD-card would appear as a media device, just like a USB-drive would.
I hope you don't mind that I include some diagnostics I made. I removed thing I thought were not relevant to the problem, but I can provide the whole text if needed.
I googled but the results are old and mostly for network cards.
I hope anyone can help.
I'm running OS 11.1 and the machine.
